Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are injectables aimed at enhancing skin quality and hydration. Typically made with hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, these ingredients work to rejuvenate and nourish the skin from within. By administering small amounts of the booster into the skin, they increase hydration levels and stimulate collagen production. This process leads to improved skin elasticity, a reduction in fine lines, and a revitalization of dull or fatigued skin. Skin boosters can be applied to various areas, such as the face, neck, hands, and décolletage, to achieve a radiant and youthful look. This consists of multiple sessions spaced a few weeks apart, promoting gradual and lasting improvements in skin quality. Skin boosters are a favored option for those looking to enhance their skin's overall health, texture, and appearance without resorting to more invasive procedures.

What to expect?
Before undergoing a skin booster procedure, the skin is carefully cleansed and a numbing cream is applied. The skin booster is then injected into the skin using either a very tiny needle or a cannula. After the procedure, some temporary puffiness, redness, and bumps may be observed for 24 to 72 hours, depending on the treated area and technique used. Most patients typically notice an improvement in hydration and glow within 7 days of their first session.

They are made of a naturally occurring substance called hyaluronic acid many also contain additional vitamins and minerals etc. Micro-tox (hyper-diluted Botox) can also be added for additional tightening and glass skin effects. What are polynucleotides?
Commonly known as “PDNs,” polynucleotides have recently made a significant impact in the aesthetics industry. However, they have a long history of use in treating wounds, burns, ulcers, and scarring. Sourced from fish DNA, polynucleotides are injectable gels that stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity. As effective antioxidants with moisturizing properties, they serve as a versatile option suitable for nearly everyone. These cutting-edge treatments promote a brighter, more youthful appearance and can tackle a variety of aesthetic issues. With the ability to address concerns such as crepey skin, fine lines around the eyes, dark circles, sagging skin, and “tech neck” lines, polynucleotides exemplify the continuously evolving field of aesthetic solutions.
Polynucleotides are typically injected into targeted areas using fine needles or cannulas. Polynucleotides can also be applied during and after a micro-needling treatment. As of January 2025, Polynucleotides are not approved for injection in the United States by the FDA. Polynucleotides are able to be used during and after micro-needling treatments.

How do polynucleotides work?

Polynucleotides stimulate cellular repair by directly targeting fibroblasts—cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin. This process rejuvenates the extracellular matrix, which supports the skin’s structure. Additional benefits include the following:
-
Polynucleotides bind to water molecules, delivering deep hydration to improve skin texture and tone
-
They promote tissue repair, making them ideal for healing acne scars and stretch marks
-
Polynucleotides protect skin cells from oxidative stress, reducing damage caused by free radicals and environmental factors

Polynucleotides are suitable for nearly anyone looking to enhance their skin’s natural beauty. Ideal candidates:
-
Have mild to moderate skin laxity, fine lines, or dehydration
-
Want a natural-looking, non-surgical solution for skin rejuvenation
-
Seek an alternative to traditional fillers or neurotoxins
-
Are in good overall health with realistic expectations
-
Not allergic to fish.
